‘Animal Crossing’ x ColourPop makeup line announced

Nintendo announced a makeup line in collaboration with cosmetics brand ColourPop. The new collection will be inspired by characters from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Releasing just a preview through the Nintendo of America Twitter account, ColourPop is keeping most of this collection a secret for now. What has been confirmed are at least four palettes in pink, green, purple and brown – with some of the Cross between animalsmost loved characters of.

Tom Nook and his nephews adorn a green palette of four cloths, while the Able Sisters are given one in purple. The two owls that live in the museum, Celeste and Blathers, appear in an orange and brown palette, and Isabelle has her own in bright pink.

The photo also indicates some gel shadows, lip pencils and some items with the game’s currency theme, Bells. Due to their extensive collaborations with Disney Princesses brands, The Mandalorian, many other items are likely to be announced.

The launch of the collection is scheduled for January 28, ten months after Animal Crossing: New Horizons‘ launch. This is ColourPop’s first collaboration with a video game brand, but its attention to detail in previous collections means that each item will have a creative theme.

After a year of hitting the bestseller lists on sites like Amazon and the Nintendo Store, Animal Crossing: New Horizons it’s still strong. Recently, the PokeCenter of Pokémon games have been recreated on a user Animal Crossing: New Horizons island.

This is far from the first Cross between animals island to be inspired by the real world. Last year, I saw an official KFC island and an island dedicated to President Joe Biden.
