Although it has been a minute since they met in person, they still maintain regular contact.
It’s been 11 years since “Teen Mom OG” stars Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra put their daughter Carly up for adoption in “16 and Pregnant”, but they are still very much in touch with her and the girl’s parents.
Brandon and Teresa Davis last appeared on the show in 2019, appearing for an interview without Carly for the show meeting. Her appearance came after an off-camera meeting between Catelynn, Tyler, her children Vaeda and Nova, their own parents, Brandon, Teresa and Carly – their first date after a two-year break.
It looks like it may have been the last time they saw each other in person, as Catelynn told TooFab, that it’s been two years since their most recent meeting, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t communicated.

“We talked, Carly’s mom and I exchanged a lot of text messages,” she explained. “We didn’t … we saw them two summers ago, because obviously with the pandemic and stuff, they’ve been staying at home too.”
“So, hopefully, when COVID calms down or leaves, or people start getting vaccinated, we can pay a visit again,” she added, “but we keep in touch.”
“Nova and Carly FaceTimed not so long ago,” continued Catelynn. “So we try to maintain as much communication as possible, and as long as the girls can communicate, that is the most important thing for me.”

During the 2019 meeting, the two couples were open about the open adoption process.
“I don’t know what you can say other than how amazing it is and so I’m there with this sweet young, biological mother, who is handing that child over to me,” said Teresa. “It is definitely an experience like no other. The gratitude and gratitude of it, combined in one.”
“It’s very comforting,” added Tyler. “Thanks for letting us get involved and seeing her and being amazing parents to her, we really couldn’t have asked for anything more, honestly.”
Brandon returned the gratitude, saying to both, “The first thing that comes to mind, as always, gratitude, gratitude for all of you. We wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for that.”
The new season of “Teen Mom OG” opens Tuesday, January 26 at 8 pm ET / PT on MTV.
