The PS5 was restocked at several retailers yesterday, including GameStop, Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon. Thursday was a great day for PlayStation fans, who have been struggling to get their hands on the next-generation Sony console since it launched in November 2020.

Since launch day, the PS5 has been replenished occasionally, but quantities have always been limited, while demand remains high. Yesterday was one of the few days since November when players had several chances throughout the day to try and finally buy the PlayStation 5.

While some retailers announced their PS5 restocking in advance, alerting PlayStation fans, others quietly launched more consoles online without any warning. Players are often made aware of new refills and drops as they happen via dedicated PS5 refueling accounts on Twitter, in addition to prominent game accounts like @ Wario64.
