Japanese tables: alternate games make up the top 20

Update: More graph data has now arrived for the past week in Japan, showing that the Nintendo Switch has managed to claim all of the top 20 places on the software charts. In fact, Switch games make up 28 of the top 30, with only two PS4 titles spoiling Nintendo’s party.

Original Article (Thu, January 21, 2021 13:35 GMT): The numbers for the Famitsu Japanese charts are now in the week ending January 17, revealing that the top ten has been entirely populated by Nintendo Switch titles once again.

Momotaro Dentetsu it is still at the top of the pile in what is becoming an increasingly familiar list; Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Ring Fit Adventure also remain in second and third places, respectively, with other Nintendo heavyweights doing business elsewhere. This marks the fourth consecutive week that Nintendo Switch games have occupied all of the top ten positions on the charts.
