Doctor Strange will reportedly fight 2 Avengers in Multiverse Of Madness

It looks like Stephen Strange will be very busy in his next sequence. When Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was announced, we found out that Elizabeth Olsen would star opposite Benedict Cumberbatch as Scarlet Witch. And with WandaVision now unfolding weekly on Disney Plus, fans are increasingly feeling that Wanda may be more of a threat to the Sorcerer Supreme than a friend. Do the heroes fight in the movie, then?

It certainly looks that way. In fact, it’s possible that Strange will end up facing not one, but two Avengers in Doctor Strange 2. Insider Daniel Richtman recently shared that the account of Chris Evans’ return as Captain America will involve him in the role of an evil alternative version of Cap from another universe loyal to HYDRA. And in a stream of information, Richtman is now confirming that Strange will conflict with Scarlet Witch and HYDRA Cap in his sequel.

We can probably assume that the latter will only have a cameo in Doctor Strange 2 while Wanda will be a much larger presence, with the magical conflict of Strange and Scarlet Witch being an important component of the film. However, a set of Strange vs. Cap may be one of the highlights of the sequence. Imagine Strange’s mystical abilities versus the strength and power of a corrupt Cap.

Remember, Stephen Strange will also act as Peter Parker’s latest mentor in Spider-Man 3, which is probably setting up the multiverse opening before DS2. AND WandaVision is known to lead directly to the film. The pieces should start to fit right then, before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters in March 2022. Production is currently on hold in the UK, but will be restarted soon.
