The release of the James Bond film ‘No Time to Die’ has been postponed again: report

The producers of “No Time to Die”, the last episode of the James Bond franchise, have once again postponed its theatrical release.

The film, which was scheduled to open on April 2, will now hit theaters on October 8, according to Variety.

The change comes as coronavirus cases continue to increase, especially in the U.S.

“No Time to Die” had a hard time setting a release date since its scheduled release in April 2020. The film was postponed until November 2020, but as the pandemic has not subsided, it was moved back to April this year.

MGM will take care of distribution in North America and Universal will release the film internationally. Company representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.

The vehicle reports that “No Time to Die” cost about $ 200 million and will need to be an international success to make money from the film, especially considering that an advertising campaign has almost been completed in the past.

Earning such a sum is very unlikely without American cinemas operating at a higher volume than now, as many cinemas remain closed and others have limited capacity.

“No Time to Die” will star Daniel Craig as the soft-spoken Brit alongside Ana de Armas, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Jeffrey Wright, Ralph Fiennes and others.

The film was also the first major support film to postpone its release date in the midst of the pandemic and considered selling to streamers at a high price.
