Word of a Unknown movie started to float even before the second game in the series was released. We’ve talked about this at least since 2008, many years before we’re supposed to shoot wrapped in October last year. However, in the COVID era, film release schedules continue to change as studios look for a way to get ahead of the cinema audience, and now Sony Pictures has released new release dates for several future films.
As reported by Deadline, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, the release date for the film Uncharted changed from July 16 this year to February 11, 2022. The film official Twitter account it simply lists 2022 and, given all the delays so far, this type of window is probably more appropriate.
