Disney is starting the process of bringing more singers, dancers, technicians and other cast members back to work from one of the most popular shows at the Walt Disney World Resort. Scheduled for this summer, the Harambe Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will host the fan-favorite troupe of music storytellers, along with Simba and his friends, in a “celebration” of the incomparable “Lion King Festival”.
When you return, the “Festival of the Lion King” will be presented in a modified format to take into account the current environment. There will be adjustments to the show on stage and backstage, including choreography updates to allow for proper physical distance. We will also adjust the way the audience sits, according to other theater-based experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort.
