- Realme released the specifications for its 2021 flagships scheduled for launch in the first quarter.
- The Race Pro will have a 160 Hz screen, a Snapdragon 888 and a fast charge of 125 W.

Realme is ready to show more than a teaser image of its main 2021 phones. The company offered the first specifications for the Realme Race Pro (shown above) and the Realme X9 Pro, and both promise cutting-edge technology.
The Realme Race Pro will be centered around a 6.8-inch 1440p OLED screen with a refresh rate of 160Hz. Fast monitors like this are still very rare – even Asus hid the ROG Phone 3’s 160Hz mode. You can expect high-level performance in other areas as well, including a Snapdragon 888 chip, up to 12 GB of low-power DDR5 memory , fast charging with 125 W cord and 5,000 mAh battery. You will have between 128 GB and 512 GB of storage.
Although the Realme X9 Pro is not that powerful, it should still break new ground as one of the first phones using MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chip. You can also expect a 6.4-inch 1080p OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 256 GB of storage, a 4,500 mAh battery and 65 W. charging.

Interestingly, the low end phone will win in terms of pure camera resolution. The Realme Race Pro will carry a 64 MP main rear sensor, plus two 13 MP secondary cameras, while the X9 Pro will replace the main camera with a 108 MP camera. Of course, image quality is another story – we won’t be surprised if Race Pro takes better pictures.
Both phones will have a release date sometime in the first quarter of 2021 and will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The company has not revealed prices for any of the new models.
It won’t be surprising if other Android 2021 phones match or beat what Realme is offering with Race Pro and X9 Pro. It’s safe to say they are powerful, and together with the Galaxy S21 and Mi 11 they will define what you can expect when throughout the year.
