The extroverted first lady Melania Trump wore an orange-print Gucci dress after arriving in Palm Beach, Florida, from Washington, DC, with former President Donald Trump. This marked the duo’s last flight on Air Force One as president and first lady.
Her bombastic dress, which costs $ 3,700, contrasted sharply with the black Chanel jacket and the Dolce & Gabbana dress she wore when she left the White House. Neither Melania nor Donald Trump wore masks while boarding or disembarking Air Force One.
The couple left the presidential jet at 11:08 am, NBC reported, about an hour before President-elect Joe Biden took office in DC.
The Trumps, now residents of Florida, waved to a crowd of supporters and took a motorcade to former President Mar-a-Lago’s resort, where the pair chose to go instead of attending the incoming president’s inauguration party.
Before leaving for Florida, Trump delivered a farewell speech to supporters at Andrews Joint Base.
“It is my greatest honor and privilege to have been your president,” he said to applause. “I wish the new administration much luck and success, and I think they will be very successful. They have the basis for doing something really spectacular. “
