Without an announcement, yesterday ended up being the last day of operation of the last version of the Hall of Presidents of the Magic Kingdom. Disney quietly closed the attraction overnight, as now guests arriving at the Magic Kingdom will find out.
With this silence on the part of Disney, it was not stated that the new president of the United States would be added to the attraction, but in a statement to Orlando Sentinel today, a Disney spokeswoman confirmed the addition of a Biden audio-animatronic figure.
The sign on the outside of the closed attraction also assures us that Biden will be added to the attraction (in audio-animatronic format, of course), the question is still whether he will have a speaking role. No reopening date has been set.
It is not clear at this point how much more of the attraction will change, as this is the first time that a new version of the show has existed only for a presidential term, lasting just over 3 years.
