Korg says it has a “straightforward, performance-oriented interface” and a “sequencer with deep features”, but has not provided more details than that. Most of the recent Korg instruments dating back to the original Minilog in 2016 have focused on button controls by function, so I would expect more of the same here. As for the sequencer, well, Korg recently made an impressive SQ-64 sound, and it would only make sense for them to bring some of the features of that while keeping the log line motion sequencing intact for parameter automation.
Unfortunately we don’t have much more to share than that. Drumlogue is still in development and, although it may be launched before the end of the year, Korg has not yet offered a launch window.
