Stars of all kinds are scheduled to attend the inauguration that is fast approaching President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris.
Wednesday’s starred events will see a variety of celebrities – including actors, actresses, musicians, TikTok stars and a nationally awarded poet – spread across a long day of virtual patriotic programming.
Many of the biggest names will appear during the primetime special “Celebrating America” on Wednesday night, hosted by cinema legend Tom Hanks – although several entertainment luminaries participate in the inaugural parade and even the inauguration ceremony at the Capitol.
Here is a summary of who is doing what for tomorrow’s celebration.
Lady Gaga
Watch the artist “Shallow” dive into the national anthem during Wednesday’s ceremony.
Jennifer Lopez
It costs nothing to watch the musical performance of the pop icon Lopez during the inauguration.
Amanda Gorman
There is a poem at this inauguration courtesy of Gorman, the first nationally awarded young poet.
“America is a mess. It is still at the beginning of the development of everything we can become, ”Gorman, a 22-year-old LA native, recently told The Times before his inaugural appearance. “And I have to recognize that in the poem. I cannot ignore or delete this. And then I made an inaugural poem that recognizes these scars and wounds. Hopefully, this will lead us to heal them. “
Garth Brooks
The Associated Press reported on Monday that Brooks will also perform at the opening. “This is not a political statement,” the country’s star told a virtual news conference on Monday. “This is a declaration of unity.”
Tom Hanks
Apparently, Biden and Harris have a friend in Hanks, who is expected to host the star-studded opening special “Celebrating America” on Wednesday night.
Eva Longoria
After hosting a night at the Democratic National Convention last year, the actress from “Desperate Housewives” will present several segments throughout the special “Celebrating America”.

All of me wishes you all to know that the singer and songwriter Legend will also perform on the “Celebrating America” program.
Bruce Springsteen
Of course, Springsteen will participate in Wednesday’s patriotic celebration as part of the “Celebrating America” program. After all, he was born in the USA.

What’s wrong with making sure Lovato is going to rock the house during the “Celebrating America” special?
Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemons
A few months ago @AntClemons and wrote BEST DAYS. This song was our way of doing what little we could to encourage everyone to remain hopeful and to work for a better future. I am honored to announce that we will be presenting it for the inauguration. pic.twitter.com/aes5gXdEww

What is a historic day for our parents without a little country music? McGraw and Hubbard will present their new duet, “Undivided”, for the program “Celebrating America”.
Black Cougars
