Don Sutton Passes Away – MLB commercial rumors

Baseball Hall of Fame Don Sutton passed away, his son Daron announced Tuesday. The former major league right-handed man was 75 years old.

Sutton had a long career with the 1966-88 Dodgers, Angels, Brewers, Astros and Athletics. Most of his time in the championships (16 years) was spent with the Dodgers, with whom he accumulated 233 of his 324 wins in the regular season. The Dodgers withdrew Sutton’s number in 1998.

Sutton is tied with legend Nolan Ryan in 14th in victories and seventh in thrown entries (5,282), having accumulated more than 200 frames in 19 seasons. The workload never seemed to have a negative effect on Sutton, as he ended his career with an ERA of 3.26 and currently ranks seventh in eliminations with 3,574. Sutton also won four spots on the All-Star during his stint at the big ones.

After he finished playing, Sutton spent time in the broadcast booth with the Dodgers, Braves and Nationals. Sutton’s longest career as a commentator was with the Braves, who put him in the 2015 Hall of Fame.

MLBTR regrets the loss of a great baseball player and sends our condolences to Sutton’s family and fans.
