LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a shootout that occurred around 8:30 pm on Monday in an apartment complex near Charleston and Lamb Boulevards.
Police said that when they arrived, they found an 18-year-old girl shot, she was transported to UMC, where she died.

A group of teenagers and other young people are believed to have been listening to music in a car when someone in the back seat had a gun and shot the 18-year-old victim.
The three people in the back seat fled, the other two in the car were talking to the police.
There were no arrests at this time.
LVMPD says it is looking for 1 black woman who is believed to be between 18 and 19 years old and 2 young black men (late teens).
The police are not sure, at this point, whether this was an accidental or deliberately shot.
6 people in total were in the car when the shooting happened.
The authorities claim to believe that everyone was known to the school.
