Xbox Game Pass loses Death Squared and two more games coming soon

Just yesterday, five games were announced as leaving the Xbox Game Pass soon, and now it looks like a few more are on the way. Three more games have been added to the “coming soon” panel of the Xbox Game Pass library, including Death Squared for Xbox Game Pass console players and Death’s Gambit and Reigns: Game of Thrones for Xbox Game Pass for PC players. All three will leave in the next two weeks.

Death Squared

Death Squared has an estimated completion time of around 8 to 10 hours, so it shouldn’t take you long to finish any of your 25 achievements – especially if you use the excellent Death Squared walkthrough – although there seems to be an achievement bug that you may need to observe. Death Squared is a cooperative puzzle game about how to guide your robot to its goal, strategizing with other players to avoid traps and finish each puzzle. He exits the Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks.

Both Death’s Gambit and Reigns: Game of Thrones will leave the Xbox Game Pass for the PC library in the next two weeks. Reigns is a card and board game in which you go through scenarios. It’s a different story from the series or the books because it’s based on Melisandre’s visions, so you can rule like any number of characters and change your stories. Death’s Gambit, meanwhile, is an action RPG with platform elements, where you play as an agent of Death, fighting to purge souls on a hostile medieval planet.

We still have some Xbox Game Pass releases to look forward to this month. Control joins the Xbox Game Pass for PC this week, with Project Winter coming to the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC on January 26, followed a few days later by The Medium on January 28. We’ll let you know when we hear what else Microsoft has planned for the Xbox Game Pass in 2021.
