5 best AR loadouts for Warzone, Season 1

A CoD load is nothing without the corresponding updates, so here are the best advantages to give you a competitive advantage in any Warzone game mode.

Although Warzone is now a stand-alone game, it is still connected to Modern Warfare. It uses its mechanism, menus, movement system and advantages. In Warzone Season 1, none of the advantages of Black Ops Cold War can be used, so you must equip Modern Warfare’s.

Here are the best perks to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1.

Advantage 1

CoD Warzone EOD privilege

DOE

EOD reduces the explosive damage received, making it a vital benefit in Call of Duty: Warzone. If you’re stuck in a room with players outside, expect a flood of Semtex and Frag Grenades to come to you. If you have any hope of surviving, you need to have the EOD equipped.

As long as you have a splinter of armor left, you can survive any explosive that is not a direct attack, so keep placing the plates and you will be invulnerable.

Double Time

Double Time allows you to do Tactical Sprint for longer, as well as crouching faster. Mobility is the key to pushing enemies and avoiding the closed gas circle.

On the ground, you need to be the first person in the next zone and Double Time will allow you to move quickly across the map without a vehicle revealing your location. Higher crouching walking speed also offers high mobility while approaching enemies.

Advantage 2

CoD Warzone Overkill privilege

Overkill

With Verdansk having long lines of sight and hand-to-hand combat, most players bring both a ranged weapon and a close-up weapon in their equipment. The Warzone meta following the DMR nerf is a Kar98k paired with an FFAR or MAC-10.

Use Overkill to get both weapons on your first load for effectiveness in all ranges, then take Ghost or Refuel from your next loading box and you will have the best of both worlds.

Ghost

Ghost is probably the most used privilege in Warzone. With the UAV constantly bursting and almost every player operating a heart rate sensor, staying off the radar is vital.

You can sneak into teams and make a quick escape if you are in a difficult situation. Or, if you are a camping builder (no judgments here), listen to your enemy’s fury in the conversation about death as you take him by surprise.

Refuel

CoD Warzone Restock privilege

Refueling is only useful if you are an extremely confident and aggressive player. If you are driving across the map dropping reward target after reward target, Refueling is a must. Starting a fight with a well-positioned Stun Grenade will almost always kill you, and Refueling allows you to recover your equipment every 50 seconds.

You will lose Ghost’s advantage, but if you’re driving at enemies to eliminate them as quickly as possible, Ghost really won’t be necessary.

Advantage 3

Amped

As Gaz said in Call of Duty 4, “switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading”. This remains true in Warzone more than a decade later, and the Amped privilege makes it all the more effective.

There is nothing worse than running out of ammo and watching helplessly as you are taken out while switching weapons or reloading. Amped allows you to switch weapons almost instantly so you can continue shooting with minimal delay.

Tracker

CoD Advantage Warzone Tracker

This privilege is especially effective in solo matches, where you will normally only focus on one player at a time. This privilege allows you to see the footsteps of the enemy so that you know if someone has been around recently. How slow and tactical solo games can be, you will be surprised at how many times it will save your skin.

Best advantages for war zone soils

Warzone solos is almost an entirely different game of squads, where you must quickly turn to new zones and know where the enemy players are to survive. Here are the best advantages to obtain that individual victory.

  1. Double Time
  2. Ghost
  3. Tracker

Best advantages for war zone squads (duos / trios / quads)

In Warzone quads, you’ll fight multiple enemies at the same time, so you’ll need EOD to survive multiple explosions and Amped to avoid reloading in the middle of the fight.

  1. DOE
  2. Overkill, then Ghost
  3. Amped

Use these advantages together with the meta-weapons and you will have a significant advantage in Verdansk and the Island of Rebirth.
