Ravens running back Mark Ingram gave his own news, although it was already expected.
Ingram tweeted a farewell letter to Baltimore minutes before several reports appeared that the Ravens informed the running back that they will release him on Tuesday.
Ingram played his final game for the Ravens in week 17. He was a healthy scrape in both playoff games.
The Ravens saved $ 5 million in cap space by releasing it.
In 2020, Ingram had a minimum of 72 loads and a minimum of 299 running yards.
Ingram, 31, has 7,324 run yards in 10 NFL seasons, eight with the Saints. He has 9,219 yards of scrimmage in his career and 72 touchdowns in total.
