Matt Damon has landed in Sydney, Australia, and is preparing to shoot the fourth film in the Thor franchise.

No word on who he’s playing; however, he played a version of Loki in Thor: Ragnarok, who portrayed Loki’s “life” in a play.
I doubt he’ll come back as a theater Loki, but Taika Waititi is bold, so I wouldn’t put that apart from him.
The details of the project are being kept confidential. However, director Taika Waititi did a live broadcast of Thor: Ragnarok and during the broadcast, he shared new art concepts and details for the fourth installment of the franchise, you can check those details here.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth, who returns as the main character, alongside Tessa Thompson as Valkryie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who will become the Goddess of Thunder, Christian Bale as Gorr, the Butcher God and the Guardians of the Galaxy (Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel). They are also scheduled to return Korg (played by Waititi) and Miek, who are supposed to play key roles in the film.
Thor: love and thunder is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
