Athlete who makes history is invited to the inauguration of Biden

Participation in the inauguration will be strictly limited because of the Covid-19 pandemic and security measures put in place after a violent crowd supporting President Donald Trump invaded the United States Capitol on January 6, while Congress certified the victory of Biden.

Fuller helped Vanderbilt win the Southeast Conference women’s football tournament as a goalkeeper. She helped the football team while it dealt with the problems of COVID-19.

She became the first woman to play a Power Five game on November 28 with a crawling kick to open the second half of a loss in Missouri, the only time she entered the field in that game. She had another chance on December 12, when Vanderbilt had only 49 stock market players for its game against Tennessee.

Fuller, listed in second of three kickers available on the depth table, went to the extra point that tied the game at 7 with 1:50 remaining in the first quarter. She converted her second point afterwards with 7:22 remaining in the fourth period of the 42-17 defeat.
