Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes was eliminated from the playoff game after a scary blow

Patrick Mahomes was eliminated from his playoff game of the divisional round between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cleveland Browns after a scary third-quarter blow.

Mahomes was staggering to the right when he was approached by a Browns defender. Mahomes was dragged to the ground and seemed to hit his head on the ground.

He got up with the help of his companions, but he didn’t seem to know where he was.

The Chiefs said Mahomes was being evaluated for a concussion and was replaced by Chad Henne. On her first stroke, Henne hit 1 in 2 with five yards. Darrell Williams carried the ball mainly during the move.

It was later discarded.

The Chiefs achieved a field goal from outside the drive and led 22-10 with 4:24 remaining in the game.

Mahomes made 21 to 30 with 255 yards and a touchdown pass. He also had 14 yards on the ground and an accelerated touchdown.

Kansas City is the current Super Bowl champion and is looking to do something that only the New England Patriots have done since 2000 – winning consecutive Super Bowl titles.

Not having Mahomes would obviously undermine those plans. He was the Super Bowl LIV MVP last year, when the Chiefs staged a comeback win to defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
