Set in a picturesque little town, the series has adorable characters, romance, drama, intrigue and everything in between. Now that the series has been renewed for season 3, fans are convinced that a mysterious character is working for the show’s antagonist.
Inside Netflix’s ‘Virgin River’
Romance fans have loved Netflix Virgin river. Based on the beloved novels, Virgin river follows LA nurse Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), who flees to Virgin River after a series of tragedies.
Adjusting to life in the small united town is certainly a big change for Mel, especially when she meets Jack (Martin Henderson), the taciturn army veterinarian who owns the only bar in town.
As Mel tries to heal from her past, her connection to Jack and other things starts to interfere with what may be her second chance at happiness.

Fans can expect to see new characters in the third season of ‘Virgin River’
Virgin river fans can rejoice that the series has already been renewed for the third season. Since bestselling novelist Robyn Carr wrote 21 books in Virgin river series, there is more than enough material to choose from.
So far, we don’t know what Jack’s fate is, now that Mel found him at the bar. However, the news of the Deadline casting gave us some details about what to expect next.
They reported that Grey’s AnatomyZibby Allen will play the role of Jack’s sister, Brie, who is also a lawyer. In addition, Stacey Farber has landed a recurring role as Tara, Lilly’s eldest daughter (Linda Boyd) who helps care for her little sister, Chloe.
There’s a lot more to come, too. “At the end of the day, the way I see the series is that we will have as many seasons as we can,” host Sue Tenney told TVLine. “And when we get to the last season, we want them to be where they are [Robyn Carr] have them. “
‘Virgin River’ fans are convinced that Jamie is working for Calvin
In the first and second seasons of Virgin river, Mel and Jack had more than a terrible confrontation with Calvin (David Cubitt), the menacing drug kingpin who held Mel hostage and who appears to be the main suspect behind Jack’s shot at the end of season 2.
However, fans are now pointing to another character they believe is in cahoots with Calvin. In the 2nd season, Virgin river the fans were introduced to Jamie (played by Carmel Amit), a businesswoman from San Francisco who comes to town to convince Preacher (Colin Lawrence) to apply for a new chef job at his restaurant.
Although Jamie looks nice and welcoming, fans are convinced that she is really working for Calvin. When Calvin caused someone to poison the food at Jack’s Bar, making dozens of people sick and closing the Preacher’s kitchen, Jamie was there. Now that it looks like Preacher is accepting Jamie’s offer, fans are even more convinced that something is not right.
