“Thank you all and thank you science,” says the actor.
Steve Martin told fans on Sunday that he had good and bad news.
The iconic comic book and movie star revealed that he had received what is supposed to be his first round of vaccination COVID-19, which was good news. He added that the bad news is that he is old.
“Good news / bad news. Good news: I just got vaccinated! Bad news: I got it because I’m 75 years old. Ha! The operation in New York was as smooth as silk (sorry for the cliché @BCDreyer!) And perfectly hosted by the Army and the US National Guard. Thank you all and thank you science, “said Martin on Twitter.
Martin explained to another user where he went (“I signed up ON line through a NYC govt website) [sorry I don’t have the exact site], and waited in line at the Javits Center “) before telling a joke to a different user.” At the moment, I am not having any fide resection “, he joked.
Martin made a point of making people laugh amid the new coronavirus pandemic. For example, your profile picture on Twitter is of the actor wearing two masks that cover the entire face.
In September, Martin made headlines when he ran into a lot of trouble after posting about making sure he could still be recognized while wearing a mask around.
“I always wear a mask when I go out. But something about it was making me anxious and uneasy. I thought about the problem, solved it and here is the solution ”, wrote the comic and the actor, along with a photo of him wearing a plaque over his ear that said:” Steve Martin “with an arrow pointing down.
