A Call of Duty: Warzone world record was set by a group of quad players. The team broke the previous maximum score in the battle royale game for several deaths, making a score that is likely to hold for some time.
The four Warzone players set the record during the week, reaching a new record for most deaths won in a single round of the FPS game. Together, streamers TheMylesLive, Stukawaki, ScummN and 62yKreJ managed to accumulate an impressive 143 deaths during a quad game, well overcoming the 138 deaths that Abezy, Cellium, Priestahh and Vikkstar scored in May 2020.
TheMylesLive posted a brief reaction clip on Twitter as soon as the scoreboard was available on January 11th. Stukawaki was the one who killed the most, contributing 48 points to the count, ScummN was just behind with 43, The MylesLive was 27 and 62yKreJ was 25. The group used DMR-14 and MAC-10 as their main shipments, and the DMR goal definitely helped, as it was still a quick way to take down enemies at this point.
Just two days later, developer Raven Software had nerfed DMR in the latest patch. If rebalancing works as intended, any kind of high and revolutionary death count can be a difficult task at the moment.
