Samsung confirms that more of its next smartphones will be launched without chargers and headphones

Samsung has made many changes this year in relation to its smartphone line. The most important is the fact that brought the S Pen to the S series, but another that deserves mention is the lack of a charger in the retail packaging of its new flagships: Galaxy S21, S21 +, and S21 Ultra. It looks like these changes will be expanded to other Galaxy devices, and we’re not just talking about adding the S Pen to more smartphones and tablets. Apparently, Samsung plans to distribute more of its next smartphones without a charger.

In a statement published earlier this week, Samsung’s TM Roh confirmed that his company is working on the gradual removal of not only chargers, but also headphones from the retail packaging of its smartphones.

On the bright side, the South Korean company will be launching at least two fast wireless chargers in the coming weeks. While chargers are clearly a necessity for smartphone users, headsets are yet another bonus that companies launch to make packaging more attractive. It seems that starting this year, Samsung fans will have to buy both separately if they need to.
