Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S21 are open: price, launch date, offers, gifts and more

Samsung announced on Thursday a trio of smartphones – the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. All three phones have new designs, with a new metal-framed camera on the back and enhanced camera features. If you choose the latest generation Ultra, you can use a S Pen to write or draw on the screen, just like you can on one of Samsung’s Note models (but the pen doesn’t come with it).

This year, all three models of the Galaxy S21 offer full 5G and now you don’t have to choose between a smoother scrolling experience or a high-resolution screen – now you can have both at the same time.

Pre-orders are open now, and all three models of the Galaxy S21 are due to start appearing in a few weeks, on Friday, January 29. Everything you need to know about getting the latest and greatest from Samsung can be found below.

Will there be any offers or gifts if I pre-order a Galaxy S21?

Samsung is offering anyone who pre-orders any of the three Galaxy S21 models Samsung Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth tracker, along with a credit that can be used at the Samsung store. The credit is $ 100, $ 150 or $ 200, depending on whether you buy the S21, S21 Plus or S21 Ultra, respectively.

What colors will the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra come in?

As is usually the case with Samsung, its color options depend on the model.

Galaxy S21: Phantom violet, phantom gray, phantom pink and phantom white. The 256 GB version is only available in phantom gray.
Galaxy S21 Plus: Phantom violet, phantom silver and phantom black. The 256 GB version is only available in phantom black.
Galaxy S21 Ultra: Phantom silver or phantom black. The 256 GB and 512 GB models only come in phantom black.

How much will the Galaxy S21 cost me?

The cost of each phone varies depending on the amount of storage. Below are the US prices we currently know for each model.

Manufacturers and retailers

Samsung is pre-ordering on its website, offering operator versions along with an unlocked variant. If you order from Samsung, you will receive a credit of $ 100 for ordering the Galaxy S21, $ 150 for ordering the S21 Plus or $ 200 for ordering an S21 Ultra. Credit can be used to purchase another item or accessories for your phone from Samsung. Orders will also receive one of Samsung’s new Bluetooth SmartTag trackers for free.

For a limited time, Samsung is giving up to $ 700 off the cost of any S21 model with an eligible exchange.

The retail giant is taking orders for all three S21 models, however, you will need to be a customer of Verizon or AT&T (or be willing to switch to either operator).

You can find almost all configurations of the S21 line on the Best Buy website, available to order now. The only model that is marked as available soon, so you cannot order it, is the unlocked version of all three S21 models.

Conveyors

Verizon is accepting pre-orders for all three models and offering a free Galaxy S21 Plus with a qualified exchange and when you sign up for unlimited “selected” plans.

You can order any of the new models through AT&T. The operator is offering offers ranging from 50% off the new Galaxy Buds Pro to a free Galaxy S21 with an exchange and installment plan.

Order any of the three Galaxy S21 models from T-Mobile. You can get a Galaxy S21 for free with a qualified exchange. You are not required to add a line to this business. There is also a buy one and get one promotion.

Pre-orders for Spectrum customers are now open. If you switch to the carrier, you will receive $ 100 with a qualified exchange.

Visible is not placing orders, but will begin selling the S21 and S21 Plus on launch day, January 29th. The prepaid operator is lowering the price of both models slightly, with the S21 starting at $ 792 and the S21 Plus starting at $ 984.

As of Friday, January 15, Altice Mobile began pre-ordering the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. Customers can get up to $ 200 in Samsung pre-order credit.
