The show also turned its stars, Dynevor and Page, into sensations overnight, when the chemistry between their characters Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, caused quite a stir.

After his separation from Merrill, Dynevor started dating actor Sean Teale.
