South Carolina Highway Patrol officers say they are looking for a 2005-2006 Ford Mustang, which must have damage up front, involved in a fatal collision in Chester County.
Police officers said at 6:15 am on Jan. 14 that the suspect vehicle was heading west on South Carolina Highway 9, toward Lockhart, when the vehicle ran over and killed a pedestrian before fleeing the scene.

CHESTER COUNTY, SC – South Carolina soldiers say they are investigating the death of a pedestrian involved in a fatal accident on Highway 9 in Chester County on Thursday, January 14.
Master policeman Gary Miller says the pedestrian was in the western traffic lane on Highway 9, near Pilgrim Road, when an unknown vehicle hit and killed the pedestrian.
Police say the victim’s identity has not yet been released.
