Although it may seem Prince Harry and Meghan Markle found a little piece of paradise in California, his friend revealed that the prince is really “heartbroken” because of the “painful” drama within his family.
It’s been a year since Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royalty. During the summer, the new parents moved to Montecito, California, with their 1-year-old son. Archie and signed entertainment deals with Netflix and Spotify.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may not go unpunished. Their friend, journalist Tom Bradby, spoke about the couple’s tense relationship with the royal family in a new interview for ITV’s Love Your Weekend, which airs on Sunday, according to People.
Bradby confessed that Harry, 36, is “heartbroken by the situation with his family”, which he noted “is clearly not ideal”, adding, “it has been a very difficult year for all of them”.
He said: “The whole thing was incredibly painful, that is obvious to everyone. It is painful for everyone, painful for everyone, difficult to control.”
