Former Nebraska defensive tackle Jahkeem Green, which has already been committed to South Carolina, will be a Gamecock again, according to Dennis Brunson from The Sumter Item.
Former four-star JUCO candidate, leaving Highland Community College, through Sumter (SC) High School, was transferred to South Carolina. First year coach Shane Beamer offered Green 10 days ago.
Green, who went red during his first season with the Cornhuskers, will have two years to play two seasons with the Gamecocks.
According to the JUCO classification of the 247Sports compound for the 2019 class, Green was the potential number 18. He was No. 2 in the classified defensive system.
South Carolina listed Green as a commitment to its autograph class in 2019 for more than a year before he left the class and signed with Nebraska.
Green joins 10 other registrants in the middle of the year in South Carolina: Colten Gauthier, Sam Reynolds, Nicholas Barrett, Marcellas Dial, Jordan Davis, Nathan Harris-Waynick, Jordan Strachan, Darryl Williams, David Spaulding and Ahmarean Brown.

2020 (Junior)
Keem Green played five games in his second season in Nebraska, ending with three tackles. He made two tackles at the opening of Nebraska’s season at No. 5 Ohio State and added another tackle against Illinois.
2019 (Red shirt)
Green joined the Huskers in the second week of the fall camp. He played in three games, wearing his red t-shirt season. Green recorded a tackle on his debut with Husker against No. 5 Ohio State, and he also gained time on the defensive line against No. 15 Wisconsin and Maryland.
Before Nebraska (Sumter HS / Highlands CC)
Green totaled 116 tackles in his two seasons in Highlands, where he was one of the best players in the country’s junior university defensive line. He recorded 49 tackles as a freshman and made 67 stops as a second year, along with seven loss tackles and 2.5 sacks. Green was considered a four-star recruit, and Rivals and 247Sports ranked him as the 18th junior university recruiting nationally. He attracted the interest of many Power Five programs and was originally committed to South Carolina.
Green threw his prep ball at Sumter High School in South Carolina. He has recorded 88 tackles in his last two seasons with 12.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks.

Keem is the son of Tasha Solomon and Willie Green, and he was born on September 23, 1998. Green graduated from childhood, youth and family studies. He volunteered his time on Service Day and visits to local hospitals.
