The woman who went viral for taking a private plane to President Donald Trump’s “Stop The Steal” rally before being photographed on U.S. Capitol Hill during the siege was arrested.
In a Justice Department lawsuit on Friday, prosecutors said a Facebook user tagged Jenna Ryan in a series of photos with the caption “We are so excited! DC linked to #StopTheSteal” on January 5.
Ryan, a real estate owner in Frisco, Texas, posted a 21-minute video to her Facebook account of her and a group walking towards the Capitol building, according to court documents.
A series of photos posted on his Facebook and Twitter shows Ryan in the crowd with other Trump supporters.
Ryan stated that she did not enter the Capitol, but the video shows her in a large crowd entering the building’s front door.
Prosecutors said they discovered a video now deleted from Facebook, taken when she entered the Capitol building, where Ryan was heard saying, “Let’s go in here. Life or death, it doesn’t matter.”
Just before entering the building, according to the file, she added, “You know who to hire for your realtor. Jenna Ryan for your broker.”

Prosecutors also discovered a tweet from Ryan posing in front of a shattered glass window with the caption: “Window in the capital (sic). And if the news doesn’t stop lying about us, we will go after his studios next … “
Ryan posted a statement on her Twitter page on January 8, saying, “I was invited to Washington DC by a friend to witness the march. Unfortunately, what I believed to be a peaceful political march turned into a violent protest. I cannot tolerate the violence that took place in January 6 2020 and I’m really heartbroken for the people who lost their lives. Hate and violence against each other will not solve our country’s problems. As a nation, we need to unite Republicans, Democrats and independents and have one and honest discussion about the problems in our country and solve our problems in peace. “
The DOJ accused her of violent entry and disorderly conduct; and parading, demonstrating or picketing any of the Capitol buildings.
