Gamecock’s male basketball team (3-2, 1-0 SEC) travels to face LSU (9-2, 4-1 SEC) in the Southeastern Conference game on Saturday night in Baton Rouge, with a denunciation scheduled for the 8:30 pm ET on the SEC Network. The good news for Gamecocks is that after having the previous two games of the Southeast Conference postponed, the team should be able to take the field this weekend against LSU. There have already been seven games canceled or postponed this season due to COVID-19 problems within the program. The hope is to make up for each of the SEC games that were postponed, as well as the game against Clemson.
After the trip to LSU, Gamecocks are scheduled to hit the road next week to face Missouri on Tuesday. The next home game is scheduled for January 23 against Auburn, with the game scheduled for noon at the Colonial Life Arena. Gamecocks are currently 3-2 in the season with wins over Tulsa, Florida A&M and Texas A&M.
