We are at the end of CES 2021 and Samsung decided to launch its next flagship line of the Galaxy S21, consisting of the S21, S21 Plus (and S21 Plus with 5G) and S21 Ultra, earlier than usual with an Unpacked event during the same busy week. So far, Samsung has launched its Galaxy Buds Pro and SmartTracker, and has started talking about phones. But we also already have a lot of information about the S21. Stay tuned now, on Samsung’s YouTube page or on your homepage, or right here.
The new model is all-metal and more resistant glass for better durability, with a screen that supports adaptive update between 48 and 120 Hz and improved protection against low blue light. And, of course, a trio of better cameras and new AI photo processing hardware. Best bokeh! Specific mode for pets! It adds multishot processing and skin-optimized white balance to selfie options.

For video, you’ll be able to extract 8K photos from videos and take photos and videos simultaneously, plus a better photo mode. It adds a multi-camera view to video as well, with quick switching between them – which looks really cool.
The phone also has an updated processor for faster processing.
Samsung brings its IoT technology to the Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag Plus (with ultra-wideband wireless bandwidth), a small portable device for tracking anything (or anyone) that you can place with a SmartThings Find application on your phone.

It is not just about phones, however. The company also launched its Galaxy Buds Pro, with enhanced sound; they add a tiny woofer for better bass. They have motion tracking sensors and Dolby audio for 360 surround, as well as active noise cancellation. And they look very different.

The microphone has also been enhanced to be more directional and has a tighter fit with adjustments to minimize wind noise.
This is a developing story. The original follows.
Samsung, in its invitation from early January, introduced “Welcome to the Everyday Epic” as the theme of its event. it is expected to reveal the new line of the Galaxy S21, as well as some possible accessories. Here’s everything we’ve heard so far about the Galaxy S21. I hope you don’t get tired of CES – it’s the last day of the show, but Samsung has a lot of news coming. The South Korean electronics giant will broadcast its virtual event Unpacked at 7am PT this morning, the last day of CES. You can watch it on Samsung’s YouTube page or on your home page, and CNET will present a live show that starts 30 minutes before the event.

Samsung will hold its first Unpacked event of the year on January 14th.
Samsung
“In the past year, mobile technology has taken center stage in everyday life as people are working remotely and spending more time at home,” said Samsung. “The accelerated transition to a world that prioritizes mobile devices brings with it the need for devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience.”
The January 14 date for Unpacked comes before normal for Samsung. In the past, the company used to launch its newest flagship phone in February, just before or during the Mobile World Congress, and then launched the device in March or even April.
Samsung will likely reveal three different models of its flagship phone at Thursday’s event: the 6.2-inch S21, the 6.7-inch S21 Plus and the 6.8-inch S21 Ultra. The devices should look the same, but larger camera modules, increasing your photo and video capabilities.

The company can also discontinue its Galaxy Note line this year and replace it with S Pen support on its Galaxy S21 Ultra. The first renderings do not show a visible location for a pen, which may mean that it must be housed separately from the phone when not in use. In Samsung’s popular – but niche – Note lineup, the stylus slides into the device for storage.
Along with the Galaxy S21 lineup may be some other Samsung announcements. The company is expected to disclose new Galaxy Buds Pro Headphones and Tile-like physical smart trackers, possibly called Galaxy Smart Tags, to help people control their belongings using BlueTooth. Apple has long been said to be working on its own AirTags, but has yet to reveal anything in that area.
