In June 2020, Fisher called Whedon, who was hired to handle the remakes in the “Justice League” after Zack Snyder was forced to leave post-production. Fisher called the treatment on Whedon’s set with the cast and crew “rude, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable”.
In August, WarnerMedia announced that it was launching a third party investigation into Fisher’s allegations of unprofessional behavior, which now included producers Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, who served as co-chairs of DC Films’ Warners division.
In December, WarnerMedia announced that it had completed its investigation and noted that “corrective action” was taken. However, I would not go into details about what that action was.

“Despite Walter’s best efforts, the Justice League investigation was able to expose Geoff Johns’ racist, coercive, discriminatory and retaliatory behavior during his tenure with WarnerMedia affiliates. This also led to a more immediate separation between WarnerMedia and Joss Whedon, “Fisher wrote in his long statement on Twitter. “While it’s legally and financially safer to silently eliminate Geoff Johns or let Joss Whedon ‘go out’ on his own – I don’t share any of those responsibilities.”
The star also said that what he experienced should not have happened and that it exposes the current “Hollywood cover-up culture”.
“I claim that Walter Hamada is not suitable for a leadership position – and I am willing, at any time, to undergo a polygraph test to support my claims against him,” wrote Fisher. “I don’t know how many cases of abuse in the workplace Walter tried to cover in the past, but I hope the Justice League investigation will be the last one.”

Walter is a respected leader, known to his colleagues, colleagues and me as a man of great character and integrity. As I said in the recent announcement of the extension of the Walter, I am excited about the place where he is taking DC Films and looking forward to working with him and the rest of the team to build DC Multiverse. “
