A prototype of the iPhone 12 Pro has just emerged and gives an interesting look at the latest build of Apple’s non-UI version of iOS 14 called SwitchBoard along with an initial version of what has become the very popular Pacific Blue color.
Guilio Zompetti shared two images of the iPhone 12 Pro prototype today on Twitter today. The first image shows the latest version of SwitchBoard, a non-UI version of iOS 14. It is used as an internal tool that features a variety of utilities. Apple uses SwitchBoard to test a variety of features with new iPhones.
The utilities we saw in previous versions of SwitchBoard are present here, such as Console, USBHost, QRCode, Reliability, as well as some newer ones, such as Ness and Astro.
It’s hard to say what a dim light looks like in the second image below, but it’s possible that Pacific Blue may be a little darker / different in this prototype of the iPhone 12 Pro than Apple decided in the final version.
