Steph Curry looked uncomfortable with the question about Edmond Sumner’s defense

The Warriors were unable to survive the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night as they lost the final game of their homeland by 104-95.

Pacers routinely swarmed Steph Curry with several defenders and implanted many box-and-one in the NBA MVP twice.

It was a very solid effort by the entire team, which explains why Curry seemed uncomfortable with a specific question during his post-game video conference with the media.

“Uhhh, he played defense,” said the star before laughing. “I don’t know. Everyone was aggressive. They had a scheme. It wasn’t just him, it was everyone.

“I tried to delay us and give us different looks. But … yes (laughs).”

Curry ended the night with 20 points (7 to 17 overall, 3 to 8 in 3s), three assists and two turns. He entered the game with an average of 20.6 field goal attempts, so Indiana has successfully limited his number of looks.
