The Broncos found their new GM.
George Paton and the Broncos agreed to the terms of an agreement that makes Paton Denver the general manager, according to several reports.
Denver GM’s work was opened when John Elway stepped away from the daily staff work, although Elway continues to oversee the Broncos office.
Paton spent 14 seasons with the Vikings, working as assistant general manager for Rick Spielman. He also spent time with the Bears and Dolphins. Now Paton will begin work on reversing a Denver team that hasn’t made the playoffs since Peyton Manning retired.
