Kyrie Irving has not yet explained her continued absence from the Brooklyn Nets for personal reasons.
Sean Marks has indicated that he has not yet set a date for when he will return to the team.
“Kyrie will have the opportunity to address his absence when he is ready to do so,” said Marks in the statement.
Irving was in the voluntary organization of the Zoom call event for Tahanie Aboushi’s campaign for Manhattan district attorney on Tuesday, just before the Brooklyn Nets started the Denver Nuggets.
“There are dozens of reporters calling everyone they can think of, trying to figure it out,” wrote Joe Vardon of Irving’s license. “It seems that few people within the NBA know what is going on with Irving, and the few who probably know (like, Nets officials) are not saying. There is real concern across the league by people who know him. “
Vardon asked Steve Nash if he was sure, or at least confident, that Irving would be back this season.
“Uhh, of course,” replied Nash. “As I said, now I have to focus on training this team and getting the best out of them. I cannot make predictions or predictions about things outside this building. “
