Aaron Rodgers reveals that he will be the guest host of an episode of ‘Jeopardy!’

Now, he can take his place for one night as a guest presenter on the popular game show.

Trebek died on November 9, 2020 at the age of 80 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rodgers, who appeared in a 2015 episode of “Celebrity Jeopardy”, revealed on Tuesday that he will be one of the special guests as a host this season, while the program is looking for a permanent replacement for Trebek.

“One of my idols was Alex Trebek,” said Rodgers on “The Pat McAfee Show”. “They are doing some commercials as guests. It will be released here soon, but I had the opportunity to do one of these … I am excited about this opportunity.”

Rodgers did not say when exactly his episode would air.

CNN contacted a spokesman for the program, but received no response.

“Danger!” started its last season on Monday. Ken Jennings, who holds the record for most wins in the show’s history and has appeared on it more than 100 times, presented the first episode.
