Disneyland Resort will become the first mass vaccination site for the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine in Orange County, California. “Coronavirus brought a public health crisis and economic devastation. Southern California is recovering from a wave of hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 last month as it became the epicenter of the pandemic. Approximately one in six Orange County residents tested positive for the new coronavirus in the past seven days. In neighboring Los Angeles County, it is one in five.
Each vaccinated person is one less resident at risk of becoming ill or spreading the disease.
