LeToya Luckett and her husband Tommicus Walker are closing the matter.
The 39-year-old former Destiny’s Child member made the announcement on Instagram on Monday.
“After much thought, Tommicus and I decided to get a divorce,” she shared. “It is my deepest wish that we are loving co-parents and maintain a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.”
The two became engaged and married in 2017 and now share two children: Gianna Iman, 2, and Tysun Wolf, almost 4 months.

Luckett continued his statement: “Please understand our need for privacy. I thank you in advance for your prayers, support and space to heal while we deal with this challenging time.” ‘

In a second photo, the “She Ain’t Got …” singer shared a family photo with her, Walker, 40, and her two young children.
“Always love,” said the post’s caption, next to a broken-hearted red emoji.
Walker shared a similar statement on his own Instagram as well.
“LeToya and I decided to get a divorce,” he wrote. “It was a very difficult decision.”
He repeated his ex’s statement about remaining “committed to our family as co-parents” and asked fans to respect his “privacy and the safety of our children”.
“Fortunately, we remain committed as caring friends, with great love and respect for each other,” he concluded. “We ask in advance for our kindness and sensitivity in the coming months.”

As Luckett did, Walker attached photos to the post, both depicting him and the singer happily embracing.
It seems that the pair is adamant that things will remain civilized during the split, as Walker later shared a photo of himself with Luckett holding hands and smiling at each other.
“WE will go on this journey as the BEST COUPONS OF EVER. Our children will see and feel LOVE. Our foundation will never break !!” he captioned the photo. “I will always love you, LeToya.”

However, he shared a statement about his story on Instagram at the same time.
“For any couple, trust that God can work things out, despite what the current state may be. God is the only person who can change circumstances, ”he began. “I never wanted a divorce, but outside forces can create a lot of confusion. For the record, NEVER GET OUT OF MY WIFE.”

Although he did not clarify the “external forces” the couple faced, Walker shared another message that may have pointed to problems in paradise.
