NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – Rescuers took a 17-year-old girl and three 19-year-old men to the hospital after, according to police, they were shot outside an apartment complex in the Brownsville neighborhood in northwest Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade police and fire rescue teams responded to the shooting site near Northwest 58th Street and 25th Avenue, around 6:30 pm on Monday.
Investigators said the victims were outside the compound when the shots were fired, hitting them.

“At least 40 shots were fired and four victims were hit,” said MDPD detective Angel Rodriguez. “The scene was very chaotic.”
7News cameras captured heavily armed police at the scene while a police helicopter hovered over them. Police officers with flashlights were also seen searching a nearby courtyard.
Paramedics transported the victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Police said the girl and one of the male patients were in critical condition. The conditions of the other two victims are unknown.
Authorities are trying to determine the circumstances of the incident. It is still unclear whether the sniper or snipers were on foot or in a vehicle.
The scene remains active from 11 pm, while the police continue their investigation.
