Most of the engineering here is familiar, but there are also some interesting snacks.
For example, the screen on Surface Pro 7+ for Business is now thinner (not the settings, we are talking about depth). Microsoft uses the same pioneering display technology on Surface Pro X on Surface Pro 7+ for Business. The result? Microsoft could insert a battery larger than 50.4 watts-hour. The previous Surface Pro 7 was only 43.2 watts-an-hour.
When combined with the 11th generation Intel processors, which offer 2.1x the performance compared to the 10th generation Surface Pro 7, it is no wonder that the Surface Pro 7 or 7 for business gets 4.5 hours of improvement. Even the LTE version is rated for 13.5 hours, three hours longer than the Surface Pro 7.
Microsoft also showcases some of the new packaging ideas it’s using for Surface Pro 7+ for Business, which reduces costs, shipping weight, is better for the environment and makes distributing large amounts of devices to businesses much easier .

You can also see where the removable SSD port is and how everything works on the video.
Finally, as with the previous Surface Pro with LTE, Microsoft is offering only 4G LTE Advanced on the Core i5 model. The reason is that while the Core i7 has a fan, the Core i5 model does not. Microsoft puts the 4G LTE modem in place of the fan, which saves space and means that Microsoft did not have to redesign the 4G model.
Business and education customers in select markets in Asia, Europe and North America can order Surface Pro 7+ through their local resellers today, with shipping starting later this week. Prices start at $ 899 and go up to $ 2,800 for the new 32 GB / 1 TB option.
