“There was no massive blackout in the Vatican”
According to The Catholic Traveler, a blogger, “There was no massive blackout in the Vatican”. He mentioned that he woke up with mass messages asking about the blackout, but no incident occurred in the city.
“A shootout in the Vatican and the pope arrested by the FBI … what? I looked out my window (I can see the Vatican from my apartment) the lights were on. No shootings. No police. Cars came and went as usual on a winter Sunday morning ”, He wrote.
The rumor went up in smoke due to a viral video. The blogger dissected and unmasked him along with all the other possible conspiracy theories that he could also generate.
He mentioned that the city is still blocked. Therefore, roadblocks in the video are common, as are the dome lights inside the Basilica going out. It may not be that common, but it is also not that uncommon.
In conclusion, the whole matter was nothing more than an unfounded rumor that is being spread on social networks.
