Stim’s dreaded failure is back in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Below, you can see a gameplay clip for Call of Duty: Warzone, showing someone being the victim of an opponent using the famous glitch Stim. In short, Stim’s flaw allows a player to continuously inject himself with Stim, an item that immediately heals the player, so that he can theoretically survive forever in the invading gas on the War Zone map.

It is not just a case of someone being a victim of Stim’s failure. Below, you can see a player running on the gas, looking for his opponent while his health continually decreases to zero. After his death, the game ends, and the victorious player takes home the victory of the war zone, having been able to hide in the gas and heal himself repeatedly with unlimited Stims.
January 2021 and is there still a way for rats to hide in the gas forever and get free gains? from r / CODWarzone
Looking at the comments below the Warzone subreddit post above, it is clear that this is an obvious source of frustration for the wider community. The infinite exploit Stim first appeared in October 2020, before being corrected shortly thereafter by developer Infinity Ward. In terms of inexplicable returns, he is alongside Emperor Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker.
Scouring the web, exploration appears to have returned about two months later, in December 2020, once again allowing players to hide and survive on the gas for easy wins. Now, in January 2021, Stim’s failure has returned for the third time and it sure seems to be wreaking havoc on the gaming community. Coupled with the recent controversy over DMR nerfs, it was a difficult start to the year for Warzone.
