BREAKING: The stable update of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 One UI 3.0 starts to be released

Samsung started releasing the stable One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 today. The company first launched the One UI 3.0 beta update for registered users of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in South Korea a few months ago.

The One UI 3.0 stable update was released for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Germany. The new software update, which has firmware version F916BXXU1CTLL, brings Android 11 and the January 2021 security patch to the foldable device. In addition to Android 11 features, such as chat bubbles, a chat section in the notification area, unique permissions, and a dedicated media playback widget, the new update also features One UI 3.0 features, such as updated UI design and enhanced inventory apps for the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user in Germany, you should have already received a notification for the update. If you have not yet received the update, you can verify it manually by navigating to settings » Software update and touching Download and install. You can also install it manually by downloading the new firmware from our firmware section.

We expect the update to be released in other markets soon. The speed of distribution of Samsung’s software update has been impressive in the past year, and the company has already released the One UI 3.0 update for most of its next-generation phones.
