Man seen chasing Black Capitol policeman on video faces charges

On a Twitter account named after him, Jensen identified himself twice in one of the photos that circulated online after the riot and insurrection.

His neighbor in Des Moines, Iowa, also confirmed to CNN affiliate KCCI that the man in the photos was Jensen.

Jensen – dressed in a QAnon T-shirt – is also seen in an Associated Press photo taken by photojournalist Manuel Balce Ceneta – pointing to another Capitol police officer.

In the video captured by Igor Bobic of the Huffington Post, Jensen – wearing the same T-shirt as QAnon – is seen chasing the unidentified policeman with a crowd of protesters following him. Once at the top of a set of stairs, the officer looks towards a door on his left that leads to the Senate floor and moves away from it towards the camera, leading the crowd away from the Senate floor.

Jensen posted on Twitter on November 12 that he was “ready for another 4 years” and “will do whatever it takes”.

Jensen, 41, was arrested for involvement in a violent mob that broke into the Capitol, according to the FBI and local officials in Iowa. Local officials were not called in to assist in the arrest, and FBI officials introduced Jensen to Polk County Prison for processing on Saturday. He was put in prison at around 1 am central time.

According to the FBI and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Jensen faces five federal charges – of illegally entering the Capitol, interrupting government business, violent entry, parading in a Capitol building and blocking the police during the riot.

CNN also contacted Polk County Jail to try to contact a lawyer for Jensen, and they submitted to federal officials. No additional information on Jensen’s case was available at the time of publication by the Department of Justice.

KCCI reported that Jensen was fired from his job at Forrest & Associate Masonry. The company’s president and CEO, Richard Felice, told the station that the company does not agree with Jensen’s actions.
