The third-person camera mod for Cyberpunk 2077 gives players a good view of protagonist V’s extremely unusual sleeping position.
A recently released mod for Cyberpunk 2077, which allows players to use an experimental third-person camera angle not included in the regular game, confirms fans’ worst fears about how protagonist V’s very unusual sleeping position. Cyberpunk 2077 was a highly anticipated game from CD Projekt Red, developers of the popular Wizard series, before finally being released on December 10 of last year. The title unfortunately was a disappointment at launch, thanks in large part to an enormous amount of bugs at the time of launch.
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that immerses players in the futuristic and dangerous Night City. The game is played from a first-person perspective, which unfortunately means that players can rarely admire the extensive character customization that is available to them. However, a popular mod allows the use of a third-person camera so that players can actually see the various cosmetic changes they make to protagonist V. The mod is still a little rough, with some of the third-person animations being understandably bad cooked or missing, but the developer continued to improve the experience. The third-person mod was released publicly last week, with PC players able to download it from NexusMods.
As revealed by Reddit user jk47_99, Cyberpunk 2077The third person mod reveals that V sleeps in an extremely unusual position. Instead of lying upright like a normal person, with his head resting on the pillows at the head of the bed, V lies horizontally on the mattress. Even worse is the fact that V uses only about half the width of his lovely double bed, allowing his legs to be uncomfortably off the side of the bed for no apparent reason. V’s unusual sleeping position was quite obvious even when playing in the first person, but the third person mod allows players to have a definitive view of the shameful nap.
Given the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk 2077, it should come as no surprise that the gaming community has endeavored to improve the title through various mods. A notable mod aims to improve the game’s minimap, which many players find frustrating and complicated. The Better Minimap mod, created by the user of NexusMods WillyJ, adds lovely improvements in quality of life, such as variable map sizes and transparencies. Another mod that has been gaining momentum since launch, City H4ck, adds many new hacked objects to the game to reinforce the use of mechanics.
Cyberpunk 2077 it was one of the most disappointing video game releases in recent memory, and this can be largely attributed to the huge excitement about the game. CD Projekt Red has lost the confidence of much of the gaming community, which will have to work hard to win it back. While V’s extremely uncomfortable sleeping position is not a major detractor from the launch experience, it is one of many examples of Cyberpunk 2077the general lack of care and polishing.
Cyberpunk 2077 is already available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia, and will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S in 2021.
