Seattle used a great second half to beat Los Angeles two weeks ago and win the NFC West title, earning the right to host a playoff game. Los Angeles lost its two previous meetings in Seattle, with its last victory in 2018. The Seahawks advanced to the NFC divisional round last season, while the last game of the Rams playoff was a defeat in the Super Bowl LIII. Rams coach Sean McVay never lost in the wild card round, while Seahawks coach Pete Carroll fell just once in the first weekend of his term at Seahawks, so something will give way.
