CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – Senator Lindsey Graham reiterated his opposition to challenging President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, telling Republican senators to “exclude him”, saying that Biden and Kamala Harris were legally elected.

“All I can say is that you exclude me,” Graham said Wednesday night in the Senate floor, before the senators overwhelmingly voted to reject the challenge to Biden’s victory in Arizona. “Enough is enough.”

He told the senators that he hoped and prayed that Joe Biden would lose.

Graham told senators that Biden won and was the rightful president.

“I cannot convince people, certain groups, with my words, but I will say by my actions that perhaps I, among everyone else in this body, need to say the following: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are legally elected and will become the vice president President of the United States on January 20, ”said Graham.

He said the Republican Party’s efforts to nullify the people’s will would not work or would be a good idea.

“I just think it’s a bad idea to delay this election,” said Graham.

The objection to the results in Arizona – led by Rep. Paul Gosar and Senator Ted Cruz – was dismissed by 93-6 on Wednesday night.
